My Week So Far
Did everyone have a good Easter? We aren’t celebrating with family until next weekend. This weekend was quiet, but we did an Easter egg hunt at home for the kids, and made ham and scalloped potatoes. My kids got some outdoor toys for the upcoming spring and summer seasons.
We finally got some shades and curtains on our bedroom window! I miscalculated the amount of curtains I needed, so I need to get back to the store and get 2 more panels. It’s so nice to be able to close the shades and darken our room for sleeping. No more lights from the road shining in our windows!
We have some tulips coming up in the garden. I think the groundhog lied this year though, because this cold weather seems to be never ending.
This week is spring break for the kids. Are you doing anything for spring break?

I feel like this cold weather is really hanging on too! My son doesn’t have spring break yet; we have another week and half before we get to enjoy a bit of a break but we don’t have any plans. I’m just looking forward to sleeping in!
