My Week So Far
We had a very busy week last week. My husbands grandma passed, so we took a trip for the funeral. My son had another wrestling tournament, in which he took 2nd place. Also, my brother got married on Sunday, and had a beautiful wedding and reception. I wish I had gotten some pictures, but I was too busy enjoying the company and the event.
I finally finished painting the upper wall in our bedroom. Painters tape and textured walls do not go together well, so I have some final touches to do. Not to mention, I spilled a quarter of the can of paint on the floor, so most of the time was spent cleaning up!! The next step for our room is to build a wooden shelf and edge to go on the open ledge around our room, I think this will tie in the two colors nicely. It’s a slow but steady process.
My husband and I started exercising last week, our goal is to exercise at least 3 times a week moving forward. If you have any exercises or videos that you would like to share with us, that would be wonderful! We don’t really have a specific exercise routine in mind, and are open to new ideas.
How has your week been so far?

Thanks so much for featuring my post about Elisabeth Elliot’s biography. Wow, you’ve had quite the week of ups and downs. I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband’s grandmother.
Good work on the exercising, I need to get back into that. I have some Leslie Sansone walking DVDs, but they get old pretty fast. I’ve planned to look around YouTube for exercise videos, too.
YouTube has been great for our exercises so far! We have been focusing on beginner workouts and yoga at this point.
Thank you for featuring my Charred Broccoli this week!
You’re very welcome for the feature!
I’m sorry to hear about your husband’s grandmother but what a joy to spend time with people you love at your brother’s wedding! Have a great week and thanks for hosting.
Thank you, it was so nice to see family! Thank you for linking up!
I enjoy just walking through my neighborhood and saying hi to folks. I can walk for 30-45 minutes and enjoy that. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
I enjoy walking as well! We live in a dirt road community, so most of the time our road and neighborhood are pretty muddy and wet this time of the year.
Thank you so much for featuring my Valentine Crafts posts. And thanks again for hosting x
Thank you for linking up, and you’re welcome for the feature!

Sorry to hear about your loss but the wedding sounds so fun. Leslie Sansone’s walking videos are quick and easy but get your heart rate up without using a ton of space!
I will have to look into those videos, thank you!
We find some great workouts on YouTube. HIT to get the heart rate up and yoga to get it down. Thanks for the link-up!
Awesome, thanks for the suggestions! We have been using YouTube for our workouts as well.
