Happy Tuesday everyone, and welcome to my Tell It To Me Tuesday (#TTMT) link party. I am very excited to get this weekly link party started, to meet new bloggers, and to provide a place for your wonderful content to be shared and viewed. I hope everyone’s week is off to a great start.

My Week So Far

Over the weekend we went camping, the weather was absolutely beautiful! We only went for one night, but we will really need to get out and do it more often. I hadn’t gotten a separate mattress for my kids, and let me tell you… that was a mistake! We were all in each other’s way all night long, and then my daughter had a nightmare about not getting donuts at the grocery store. She woke up wailing in heart wrenching tears screaming “I need donuts”. I’m sure that many of us could relate…

I so badly have wanted to finish my post about my kitchen cabinets and show off my big reveal of my kitchen all put together, but I am having writers block. Surely I will get this post completed soon, I hope you all check it out once it’s finally done. Instead, I find myself continually posting other content avoiding the dilemma of my writers block.

I have a few different recipes coming up that I am very excited to share. Over the weekend I made a couple fall themed snacks, and tonight I made white chicken chili.

White chicken chili recipe coming soon.
Fall acorn treats recipe coming soon.
Halloween snack mix recipe coming soon.

I am taking votes for the names of the two snacks above. I haven’t decided yet!

My herbs are really coming in, other than the oregano. The oregano has a very long yield time, so I still have high hopes.

  1. I know exactly what you mean about writer’s block. Sometimes I have an idea for a blog post, and most of the research, but keep putting it off….and putting it off. Thanks for the link-up.

    1. Hi Paula! Thank you for joining, and you’re so welcome for hosting. It’s nice to see you visit each week.

  4. Funny, I’m usually all-or-nothing with writing. I don’t really ever get writer’s block–either I have an idea I can’t get out of my head until I write every last word, or I got nothin’. 😉 I can’t wait to see your remodel whenever you can post it. 🙂 Thank your for hosting this lovely link party!

    1. This is typically me as well! Usually I have something to say and can’t even sleep until I get it out. I have found that the longer and more detailed posts start to feel a little daunting, and I end up putting them off until I lose my ideas for what to write. Then I get stuck in a rut! It doesn’t help that I usually only have time to write between 8:30pm and 10:30pm. LOL!

  5. Thanks so much for hosting this lovely party each and every week!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links and choosing Features!!! Thank You!! I hope you are having a great week!!
    Hugs,

  7. I am so glad you enjoyed your camping trip! I feel for your daughter though about her nightmare, because to children these can be truly disturbing. I also feel you about writer’s block. #MMBC

    1. Thank you! Yes, I still remember, to this day, a nightmare I had about a hair scrunchy getting caught on fire by the stove. It was such a minor thing, but it really had an impact on me when I was young.
