My Week So Far

It’s been a very busy couple of weeks with Christmas and the New Year. Although I do love the holiday season, I am hoping to get back to some sort of normalcy soon, with kids (and adults) back on regular schedules.

I started painting the top portion of our wall in our room. I am not entirely sure of the plan yet, but I do know that I need to brighten up our room, and this was my first step.

We spent our new years celebrating early and getting to bed. My household is sick, once again (tis the season)! I made a confetti cake with strawberry frosting and sparkler candles for the kids to blow out (don’t mind the terrible writing). Warning to all, sparkler candles are much more likely to set off smoke alarms in your home! The kids have been spending a lot of time with their new annual passes to the trampoline park near us, and they have been loving it.

I will be re-branding this link party, with a new image and name. I will make this change in the next couple of weeks. Please keep this in mind with my new link party title of “Heart & Home Link Party”, and the image below. I feel that this re-brand captures more of a unique view related to what my blog is about.
