Happy Tuesday everyone, and welcome to my Tell It To Me Tuesday (#TTMT) link party. I am very excited to get this weekly link party started, to meet new bloggers, and to provide a place for your wonderful content to be shared and viewed. I hope everyone’s week is off to a great start.

My Week So Far

This week has been quite hectic so far! I am refinishing my kitchen cabinets and my whole life feels a little torn apart. I had selected a paint options that was supposed to require just a quick sanding, but it turns out that my cabinets have the highest gloss and thickest coating I have ever seen for a top coat. So here I am now, stripping all my kitchen cabinets before I can even begin to paint them. This is not what I had intended when I started!

My son has school orientation today, he gets to meet his new teacher. He is not excited about starting school. It was hard last year, putting him in school for the first time. The lack of creativity and curiosity that is displayed really crushed the beautiful little boy that he had been before. It’s amazing the difference you will see in some children when they start school for the first time.

This year, to try and cheer him up, I am planning on making him a back to school basket before his first real day of school. There will be more to come on this, so stay tuned! I think this might be the perfect thing to brighten up his day, and calm his nerves. He loves surprises.
